Did Jesus provide any guidelines at all for the exercise of Christian leadership?

He denigrated the leaders of his day, both religious and secular. More so the religious! But did he say anything positive at all?

Or did he merely talk of followship, and also denigrate the very concepts of leadership as we understand it in the 21st century?
